Cookies

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. This page lists the ones Played Properly uses and how to control them, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.

Essential

Required for the site to work. They cannot be switched off.

• pp_cookie_choice (browser storage) remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics. Kept until you clear your browser data.

Analytics (optional)

Set only if you accept them. They tell us which reviews are read and which devices visitors use, in aggregate, so we can decide what to test next and where the site is hard to read.

• _ga, _ga_*: Google Analytics visitor and session identifiers, expiring after up to 13 months.

Third-party cookies

Following a "Play" link takes you to a publisher's website, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. Google Fonts does not set cookies.

Changing your choice

Clear this site's data in your browser settings and you will be asked again on your next visit. Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies per site through its settings.
