This policy explains what personal data Played Properly collects, why, and what your rights are under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Played Properly is the data controller for this website. Contact: hello@playedproperly.co.uk.

What we collect

• Contact form: name, email address and message, used only to reply. Deleted within twelve months.
• Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, kept by our host for security for up to 30 days.
• Analytics (optional): if you accept analytics cookies, aggregated and anonymised page-view data. Not used to identify individuals.

We do not collect payment details, game account details or special-category data, and we do not sell personal data.

Legal basis

• Replying to your message: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
• Server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
• Analytics cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Third parties

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to serve the files. When you follow a "Play" link you leave this site and the publisher's policy applies. Affiliate links may pass an anonymous referral identifier; they do not pass your personal details.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict processing, or receive a copy in a portable format. Email us and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

International transfers

Our hosting and analytics providers may process data outside the UK under the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
