By using Played Properly you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose.

1. What this site is

Played Properly publishes independent reviews and opinions about free-to-play browser games. We are not the developer, publisher or operator of any game listed and have no access to your accounts with those publishers.

2. Age

The site is intended for users aged 18 and over. Individual games set their own minimum ages.

3. Accuracy

We test carefully and update reviews when games change, but games change often and we cannot promise every detail is current at the moment you read it. Scores are our opinion, produced by the method on the testing page. Check the publisher's site for current features and prices before spending money.

4. Links and affiliate disclosure

"Play" buttons lead to third-party websites we do not control. Some are affiliate links: if you register through them we may receive a commission from the publisher. This does not change the price you pay or the score we give. Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Intellectual property

The text and layout of this site belong to Played Properly. Game names, logos and artwork belong to their publishers and are used to identify the games under review. Rights holders who believe an image is used improperly should contact us and we will resolve it promptly.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at volume or use the contact form for unsolicited commercial messages.

7. Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Played Properly is not liable for loss arising from your use of the site or of any game it links to. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
